gia AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) announced today that through a Growing Inland Achievement (GIA) grant, their organization (AVID Center) will receive $150,000 over two years, supporting a bi-county collaborative to build capacity in supporting high engagement instructional teaching and learning practices at Riverside City College and Crafton Hills College. Growing Inland Achievement is a collective impact collaborative focused on improving the long-term economic outlook of the region through improving the educational attainment rates of the Inland Empire in Southern California.
